Let's get to know one another!
Hi, I’m Abe, a Chicago wedding photographer specializing in documentary, candid, story-driven wedding photography, with a deep love for film. My work is rooted in real moments, honest connection, and storytelling that feels true to who you are.
My wife Dennie and I have been married since 2019, and we’re raising our son, Abe Jr., in West Rogers Park, Chicago. We’re big on coffee, meaningful conversations, faith, and finding beauty in everyday life. That rhythm, slowing down, being present, and noticing the small things, shapes how I photograph weddings.
My approach is simple: I document your day as it naturally unfolds. The in-between moments, the laughter, the emotion, the nervous hands before walking down the aisle. I don’t force or over-direct what’s already meaningful. Instead, I observe, anticipate, and preserve your story the way it actually felt.
I photograph weddings across Chicago and beyond, for couples who value authenticity over performance and want their wedding day remembered as it truly happened. I also incorporate film photography throughout the day for its timeless texture, intentional pace, and the way it captures warmth and emotion with depth.
Marriage is built on everyday choices, grace, commitment, and love. Being trusted to document the beginning of that journey is something I never take lightly. My goal is to deliver more than beautiful photos, I want you to have images that feel personal, honest, and enduring.
If you’re looking for a Chicago wedding photographer who values candid moments, documentary storytelling, and genuine connection, I’d be honored to tell your story.
